The Pokagon Fund is a nonprofit private foundation supported by revenue from The Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, MI. The fund’s mission is to enhance the lives of the residents of Southwest Michigan through the financial support of initiatives in the following areas:
Since its inception in 2007, The Pokagon Fund has granted more than $22 million in awards and scholarships. Grants are also awarded to nonprofit and governmental organizations in Hartford and Dowagiac, Michigan, and South Bend, Indiana. The Four Winds New Buffalo is a casino, hotel and entertainment venue, which opened on August 2, 2007. It is the primary property of Four Winds Casinos, which are owned and operated by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians.
The Pokagon Fund is not affiliated with the Pokagon - New Buffalo Area Local Revenue Sharing Board
