Amanda's Scholarship Story
Amanda Hall

Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Without ambition and work ethic, the weapon is useless, but armed with those attributes, the knowledge and understanding a quality education reinforces can be exactly what an individual needs to realize their purpose.

My simple goal for every day is similar to change the world in some way. In small victories each day, with each individual I encounter, I strive to make a positive and lasting impact. Looking ahead, my long term goal is to have that same effect in an administrative role in a collegiate athletics department, where I can be involved in the decision-making processes and program implementation that will ultimately have a grander influence on the campus and community as a whole.

With the generous support of The Pokagon Fund, I am able to complete my master's program in Sport Management and begin exploring expanded career opportunities that will allow me to do just that. I am passionate about higher education and the student-athlete experience and am excited about pursuing opportunities that will provide a platform to enhance that comprehensive experience for our young people.
